About Energy Meters :
An energy meter is a device that measures the amount of electric energy consumed by a residence, a business, or an electrically powered device. An electricity meter, electric meter, electrical meter, or energy meter is a device that measures the amount of electric energy consumed by a residence, a business, or an electrically powered device.
