About Duros:
In 1995, DUROS entered into sub-contract with Dongsung Construction Co., Inc., a Korean firm who was awarded the contract for the> reconstruction of Cebu North Road Asphalting project from Consolacion to Danao City. It was the first road project of DUROS which costs P60 Million. DUROS imported its Asphalt Batching Plant and other paving equipment and machineries from Korea with the assistance of Land Bank of the Philippines.
From humble beginnings, the couple led the Mantuhac siblings and some relatives to start San-Vic Traders, Inc. in 1987. San-Vic Traders started from selling peanuts, farm products and later on, trading goods including paint products. One of its clients was San Miguel Corp. in Mandaue City that required a construction business license for the painting of buildings and machineries.
DUROS DEVELOPMENT CORP. is a member of the DUROS GROUP OF COMPANIES, belonging to the holding company known as SAN-VIC HOLDINGS COMPANY, INC., a family-owned corporation with main office in Yati, Liloan, Cebu.
